2010 Pig Roast with 11:15am Departure

Thank you for attending the Ossabaw Island Foundation Pig Roast, Picnic and Art Sale. To make the event run more smoothly we ask that folks please follow these simple guidelines.

WEATHER:
The Pig Roast, Picnic and Art Auction will take place RAIN or SHINE.

PARKING:
To accommodate as many vehicles as possible, we are asking that Landings residents kindly drive their golf carts OR carpool to Delegal Marina.

When arriving at Delegal Marina, please drive first to the parking lot and if it is full, please park ONLY ON THE RIGHT SIDE of the street going out so that you do not have to back up or turn around in order to return home at the end of the day. Parking only on the RIGHT SIDE also allows for emergency vehicle access. Please do not block residents driveways.

BOAT PROCEDURE:
This year the boat tickets are color coded to the different boat departure times. All of the spaces on the boats are spoken for. To make sure that everyone gets a seat on the boat that they are assigned, we ask that you depart at your assigned time slot.

If by chance you arrive early please wait for your assigned boat time. We will be loading boats just prior to the assigned departure.

RETURNING BOAT PROCEEDURE:
We will be providing a shuttle from the Pig Roast back to the Ossabaw dock.
Boats will not leave Ossabaw without guests, there is no rush at the end of the day! Please continue to relax and enjoy at the Pig Roast.

Please remember that part of the adventure is the journey, these guidelines will help the day be more enjoyable.
